One of the best things about having fresh greens growing in your home is the ability to pack the blender with whatever is plentiful and start your day with a powerful boost of yummy goodness!
This little concoction has become one of our absolute favorites. Don’t get hung up on measuring – just enjoy the fresh zesty wake up call!!!
1-2 cups greens (we tend to mix spinach, kale and parsley)
1 lemon, or lime (All the juice you can squeeze, or just peel it and chuck it in!)
1 cube of fresh ginger (about the size of your thumb tip), or 3-4 drops ginger EO (I use DoTerra but you can use your oil of choice as long as it is safe for ingestion ** Check your bottle)
1-2 cups frozen fruit (we generally go for strawberries and bananas – peaches and blueberries are awesome too.)
Small can of mandarins packed in water – or a splash of OJ
BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH
