Cilantro grows so well aeroponically and it is such a delightful addition to your menu it is definitely high on the list of recommendations for your tower.
You can Toss fresh cilantro in sour cream when you are making nachos, or tacos, or baked potatoes. Sprinkle it as a fresh and delightful garnish on soups, salads and side dishes.
Mix cilantro into your potato salad! Put fresh sprigs in ANY salad or your burrito for that matter, or your breakfast omelette! OMG I’m salivating.
Cilantro has a lovely fresh after taste and a category of savory all to itself. Even just the smell is delightful….delightful…delightful – have I mentioned it’s DELIGHTFUL?
In summer salads, cilantro compliments fresh tomato and cucumber, vinaigrette dressings and cold pasta. It really can go just about anywhere.
This power house herb can be frozen to preserve either dry or suspended in oil/water (see my note on preserving chives – same process). AND or course given all it’s beauty and diversity it is the perfect thing to share with friends and neighbours. You can never have too much cilantro!
